Day 1

DAY 1: Arrival at Tashkent

  • Arrival at Tashkent around 15.00pm by Indigo. You will be met by our guide and minivan and directly transfer to the hotel. Check in. Time for rest and refresh. Overnight at hotel.
  • You can visit Magic city park this evening for a stroll and dinner on your own.

Day 2

DAY 2: Tashkent Sightseeing

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Met by our guide and minivan, begins city tour in the city, we visit:
  • Medieval center of Tashkent, Hasti Imam square and visit there the Mausoleum of Kafal Shashi, a mystical poet and interpreter of Koran of the 10th century, who later was worshiped as a Saint.
  • Barakhan Madrassah, which accommodates the Clerical Board of Central Asian Moslems, and its famous Library, with over 30.000 books, 3500 manuscripts and the precious sample of the Holy Koran, written by the fourth Caliph Osman and bearing stains of his blood on its pages.
  • Old town and Chorsu bazaar, we can do some shopping there.
  • Kukeldash and Abulkasim Madrasahs.
  • People’s friendship square
  • Amir Timur Museum and Independence square
  • Broadway street with artist and souvenirs, Victory Monument, National Library and Square with Fountains.
  • Monument of Courage.
  • Memorial of Repressions with traditional ornaments
  • TV Tower from outside
  • Post tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

DAY 3: Tashkent to Samarkhand by Bullet train

  • Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to RW station for high-speed train Afrosiyob. Below schedule is indicative only. Actual schedule may differ slightly as schedule isn’t open yet.
  • Arrival at Samarkand. Met by our guide and van. Today we discover ancient Samarkand city, we visit:
  • Gur Emir Mausoleum (15th cent).
  • Registan Square with three madrassahas (15th -17th cent)
  • Bibi Khanum Mosque (15th cent) and bazaar
  • The Mausoleum of Qusam Ibn-Abbas in the Shahi Zindah complex, who is considered as the second person in Islam after Muhammed.
  • Observatory of Ulugbek (15th cent).
  • carpet factory β€œHudjum” where pure silk and naturally dyed carpets are made by hand.

Day 4

DAY 4: Samarkand sightseeing

  • Post Breakfast. Full day city tour, visit:
  • The Mausoleum of Khodja Daniar or Saint Daniel, a prophet of the Old Testament. This holy place is recognized by Islam, Christianity and Judaism as one of eminent pilgrimage destinations.
  • Cathedral of St. Alexis, metropolitan of Moscow
  • Wine tasting at Hovrenko wine factory.
  • Konigil Paper Factory.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

DAY 5: Samarkand to Bukhara by bullet train

  • Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to RW station for high-speed train Afrosiyob. Below schedule is indicative only. Actual schedule may differ slightly as schedule isn’t open yet.
  • Arrival at Bukhara. Met by our guide and van. Today we discover ancient Bukhara city, we visit:

  • Mausoleum of Ismail Samani (9th-10th cent)
  • Chashmai Ayub (12th -16th cent)
  • Poyi Kalon Ensemble (12th -20th cent)
  • Trade Domes (16th cent)
  • Madrassah of Ulugbek (15th cent)
  • Madrassah of Abdulazizkhan (17th cent)
  • Tim Abdullakhan (16th cent)
  • Hammam (16th cent)
  • Magoki Attori Mosque (12th cent)

Day 6

DAY 6: Bukhara Sightseeing

  • After breakfast continue your Uzbekistan trip with a drive to Gijduvan (45km, 50 min), a town famous for its ceramics school at which unique products recognizable across Uzbekistan are created. The Gijduvan ceramics school has a long history, for the skills have been passed from father to son for generations. Today Gijduvan is home to the sixth generation of potters from the Narzullayevs family.
  • While visiting the pottery workshop you can have the opportunity to create your own piece of art under the guidance of an experienced potter, Chargeable extra @ USD 8-11 per person.
  • Visit the adjacent Gijduvan Ceramics Museum and even purchase souvenirs from the potter’s shop.
  • Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

DAY 7: Bukhara to Khiva by train

  • Check out of hotel and Transfer from Bukhara to Khiva by regular train. You can take a packet breakfast from the hotel. Below schedule is indicative only. Actual schedule may differ slightly as schedule isn’t open yet.
  • Arrival. Met by our guide and van. Begins city tour, we visit:
  • Kalta Minar and Mukhammad Aminkhan Madrassah (19th cent)
  • Kohna Ark
  • Mukhammad Rakhimkhan Madrassah (19th cent)
  • Pakhlavan Mahmud’s Mausoleum (14th cent)
  • Juma Mosque (10th cent)
  • Tash-Khauli Palace and harem (19th cent)
  • Karavansaray (19th cent)
  • Post tour, transfer to the hotel. Check in upon arrival. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8

DAY 8: Overnight train to Tashkent

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to RW station for train to Tashkent. Night train and overnight in the train. There are no speed bullet trains running between Bukhara and Khiva. Below schedule is indicative only. Actual schedule may differ slightly as schedule isn’t open yet.

Day 9

DAY 9: TASHKENT – CHIMGAN – CHARWAQ – TASHKENT

  • In the morning, depart to Chimgan Mountains (80 km, ~2 hours.). You will be driving the road lying in picturesque surroundings full of local villages, gardens, and streams.
  • Ride the cable car to the Kumbel Ridge (2,300 m) where you can clearly see the surrounding mountains and the peak known as 'Big Chimgan' (3,300 m) This cable car ride is included.
  • Then transfer to the Chimgan camp site, where, if you wish, you can take a cable car to the observation deck of the Big Chimgan or ride horses along the gorge at the foot of the mountain Cable car to observation deck is not included.
  • Continue to the shore of Charvak reservoir, surrounded by green mountain flanks. With numerous resorts, beaches, and children summer camps, Charvak Lake is a favourite place of locals and foreigners to enjoy summer days outside the city.
  • Drive down serpentine road to have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Return to Tashkent after lunch. Drop off at the hotel.

Day 10

DAY 10: Tashkent and Departure

  • Breakfast. Check out from hotel and leave your luggage at reception. You may visit below places on your own for shopping.

  • Evening, Transfer to International airport of Tashkent to take flight back home.
